Coinciding with Reconciliation Week, the Annual Cultural Football Carnival brings together around 50 young players (aged 6-18) from the Wiluna Martu Eagles, Mount Magnet Miners and the Dalkeith Nedlands Junior Football Club for a unique team-building experience.

The event takes place over the WA Day long weekend and combines sport and recreation with cultural learning, wellbeing, and educational activities for the young players and the community members involved.

The partnership between the Wiluna Martu Eagles and the Dalkeith Nedlands Junior Football Club has evolved since 2008 and each year, the communities take turns hosting one another, with the event being held in Wiluna and Perth (including Rottnest and Dwellingup).

Over the years, the event has provided a special opportunity to build ongoing friendships and promote cultural respect and healthy living.
